Step by step: Basic skills from line work and basic colouring.

Mainly using oil pastels and poster colours (both materials are easy to handle for children at a young age, as they are with higher pigments). Students may also be in touch with air-dried clay, acrylics, crayons, etc.

Step by step 2: Start learning skills like decorating their own backgrounds from basic shapes and how to mix their own colours with blending.

Students may learn about the basic colour theory and design principles such as texture, space, composition and form. Students are encouraged to find their personal creative expression & sharpen their visual sensibility

Step by step 3: In the age of 10 to 12. Students may start learning advanced colour theories and some of the art histories.

Students may start learning the theory of art, like perspectives, a deeper understanding of art and design. While learning different histories, students will learn about the uniqueness and similarities of various techniques and styles.

The sketching course may start at this level if students just want to focus on strengthening the sketching technique, as well as acrylic painting class.

In this level is mainly for students who are planning with a serious interest in developing advanced techniques in both drawing and painting. Focuses on traditional skills and in-depth studies of human, animal, still life and landscape. Students may also learn to create their own animated characters if they are interested go for an animation or illustration program.

Individual /Personalized /Tailor Made Class

• This class will be both demonstration-based learning and individual guidance, which helps build on the art techniques learned while working in the Portfolio Preparation course. Our students can develop their portfolios based on their fundamental skills while being presented with compositional styles to create substantial works of art.

• Drawing, painting and sketching techniques will be included in this class to prepare the students for the final step of their portfolio. Instructors set different projects for the students based on the admission requirements of their target schools, colleges or universities. The students will receive regular tips and feedback from experienced instructors to improve their art skills.

Our studio offers private classes for those looking for a personalized artistic learning experience. You may work one-on-one, and this will help to ensure that you have a rewarding art experience.

Private classes can be scheduled at any time of the day we open. Classes will be around 1.5 – 2 hours. Private classes start from $65/hr + HST per student.
